Went to Porky yesterday and its not ready yet.  Large open water(30%) and capped areas are thin
(3 in). The level is low but rising. The road has been improved.

Thanks for the info, with colder days in the future, I think that ice will be growing. If you know the ice thickness, does that mean you fished it?
If so, were you by the dam or in the back by the inlet?

I did fish the very back of the inlet just out from the spring inflow, it was slow and only 3 inches of ice. I saw a guy go out from the same place and walk way out but did not seem to have much luck. Im sure the whole thing is good to go now with these temps.
