Trying to slip away from lambing Friday morning for a Utah Lake trip. Wondered if any of y'all who have been past Saratoga or Lincoln Beach know what the ice conditions are like? With the wind and warmth i'm leery of driving over to find open water. Many Thanks

I was at Saratoga last friday night. We were basically fishing from an Iceburg. lota of broken and floating ice in marina with much open water. Luckily its only 3-feet deep if we did take a plunge. But I would guess with all the warm weather since then it would be a no go. We did very well for white bass and small perch for the couple hours we were there.

Yeah, I was out at AF Harbor on Monday night and ice is crap in the harbors. Soft water on main lake. With the warm weather, I'm sure this is pretty much the story in all the UL harbors.
