South Fork Reservoir Help
#1
Hey Team!

I'm going to be spending a few days in Elko and was going to hit up South Fork reservoir.

I was hoping people could share any tips on patterns that work there. I was planning on going to the south end of the lake where the river comes in. I have a drift boat but no motor so I'll need to stay close in case the wind gets brutal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I belive wooly buggers work pretty well there. If not I'm sure there's lots of bugs in the water to look at and match the hatch. Worms and marshmallows works hreat for trout.

Haven't fished south fork but I always like to have a renegade with me, they seem to work almost anywhere... Size 12 or 14... Good luck Jeff
When things get stressful think I'll go fish'en and worry about it tomorrow!

I wish I knew more about that body of water to help ya, but I would for sure have a few leech patterns and san jaun worms in my stash and a few dropper rigs with a few different nymph patterns to try.
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew
