use fluorocarbon line will really help. I use real small lures when I'm them and do good. My best lure you dont see out anymore it's the flying lure remeber them? anyway the one that works best for me is a clear craw, "clear with the lines of a crawfish in red" then a silver on black. then fire tiger. hope this helps.

yea my buddy like to use the shad color one out there I think it's about 5" or so he does ok. I'll bet a 3" or 4" senko would work great there also but I've never tried them. if it's cloudy try that black crankbait I made you I'll bet that will get one. but hey I think my lure will always work.

[] Hey Nomoose-
Yes, you can still buy the famed Flying Lure. Here's the website: http://www.store.yahoo.com/flyinglure/ Don

I have a complete "flying lure" kit. Anyone interested at the TV price $29.99?? (unless my wife tossed it).
I have been watching this forum for a few weeks, finally decided to interact with the insane! Kicked butt on perch at Echo on the 6th(??). Green/White 50` deep, didn`t need a board on or off. That will change soon. GO GET`M BOYS (& girls)!! [signature]

Hey Chris,
3" or 4" Senkos work great out there. Chuck them along the weedlines if that doesn't work add some wieght and Jig them in deeper water with you float tube. This may sound strange but I found if you add some "bass attractant" to your bait the bluegills will hit also. Good Luck. [signature]

Use florocarbon line. Get minnows-you'll need them if you see any big fish(trust me-them females in there WILL NOT eat anything artificial. In 14 years of fishing out there, I've seen a grand total of 3 fish come off of them.) Sneak around the lake and cast on the larger fish you see. Atatch the whole minnow to a #10 treble hook, with a hook thru the eyes, or thru the mouth and out the nose. Once the bass has it, let him run for a few seconds, and nail him. Take along some worms and mealies for the blue gills. They are excellent eating, and the biggest you'll get in utah. They are huge, and they are everywhere. Above all, remember the waders. It'll get pretty cold fast if you sink up to you butt in one of those nice little sink holes by the reeds.

Nice to hear you got into fish anyway. Them bass are some picky eaters. Were those big bass crusing or over a bed? That roads fun to drive on! Last year when I drove it(yeah, 15 and all) I got up around 65. You just fly over them bumps goin that fast!
