Ice is maybe 2-3 inches thick, not safe enough for me yet. Entire reservoir is capped.

Thanks for the conditions report, how was the road on the drive in and did you go all the way to the back by the launch?

Road is plowed all the way to dam, parking lot by dam is also plowed. From dam to boat ramp road is snow packed. Parking lot above ramp is also plowed.

Water capacity is really really low. Sand bars that were always underwater are now way above water level. Maybe 25% full and completely ice-capped.

Caught out of Lost Creek last Saturday 12/10/22 when water was still open.

Yes, I hooked a Tiger Trout that was bigger than the Splake but it broke the treble hook off the Kastmaster.

Lost Creek shows 40% full.  The link below shows the Wasatch front reservoir levels along with other drainages.

Wow, that's impressive. So you were just casting from shore and hooked them both? I seen pics of some big tigers from LC but you don't hear of many reports of them being caught.

Cast out count, let spoon sink for about 15 seconds then reel in about 10 cranks let spoon drop again for 10 seconds then reel again. Repeat again after casting til you find right depth.
