Caught the first cisco of the year today from a boat on the rockpile. Did not get a limit but 12 fish between 2 of us. But they are finally starting to run. Should be good this weekend and all of next week. Trout fishing has been pretty good the last couple of days too. (Last week was pretty slow). Open water. Docks have been put back in the water at 1st Point according to the State Park. Saturday is the BearLakeMonsterWinterfest.com
So come on up this weekend and have a good time. I hope the cisco should come into Cisco Beach this weekend. Oh, the State Park marina will be closed from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, so launch elsewhere since it will be a zoo down there with the polar plunge, chili cookoff, raffles, food trucks, and other activities.
