I took the test around new years and have not received the decal yet. I called the DWR office yesterday and asked them about it. They told me they haven’t received the 2024 decals in yet and to wait.  No time was given for when they would arrive. They said to keep copies of the papers you have to put on your dash if you go out.

I just did the test and printed that certificate, and paid the $20 and registered the boat with the AIS program. Hoping they send the correct sticker the first time.

So for now, display BOTH certificates on the dashboard I guess, along with the sticker on the boat? I agree 100% with the sticker for the trailer idea so that I don't have to remember to display both certificates on my dashboard, or remember to take both certificates with me, and display them, when a fishing buddy tows the boat with his truck.
I used to N.ot have E.nough T.ime O.ff to go fishing.  Then I retired.  Now I have less time than I had before. Sheesh.
