Salmon fishing this year has been insanely good. Some weeks having a hundred thousand fish coming over the Bonneville Dam!

I'll be over there chasing Coho in a couple of weeks. Trip #6 this year for Salmon! It's addictive! LOL

Wow, that's impressive Don, what was your biggest one this year? You have had a great year on the salmon. You must eat salmon every day, what is your favorite way to prepare them to eat?

I love this drunken Chardonnay infused Chinook bathed in minced garlic,
[Image: 2024-9-26.jpg]

fresh tomatoes, basil, mayo and low moisture Italian cheese!
Cover with foil and bake, uncover and brown cheese under broiler for a few minutes.
No monsters this year. My largest have been 30 lbs.

Thank you! I've spent my life chasing a 50 / 50 which is 50+ lbs and 50+ inches. I caught a 48 up on the Kenai but never made the 50/50 club. LOL

48 lbs, that's impressive, if you keep at it I'm sure you will get your 50/50. Do they even get that big, unless you go to Alaska?

Three came out of the Chetco River this year and a few out of Alaska and the Island Chains of BC. Very rare these days but I still persist! LOL
