Hated to lose another day, a good day at that, so Violet and I hooked up the boat and headed up to Echo to see if we could round up enough trout for a respectable dinner.
We got to the Park about 0930, after boat prep and a pit stop it was probably 1000 when the boat slipped into the water which seemed to hover right around 46* during the time we were there.
We spent the morning and early afternoon trolling Dodgers and Hoochies tipped with nightcrawler. No one spot was hotter than another just a slow and pretty much steady bite, which was about 20 min. interval. Breeze picked up in the afternoon to about 6-7 mph then let up some, enough to make loading the boat easier.
The wedge was still in place (thank you St. Pks.)
The trout we caught were 16-18" most about 17". We did catch 1 16" Brown, the others were of course Rainbows.
