Hey: Just so you know I haven't given up on the ice fishing yet even though frustration set in. Maybe with the thaw, the snow pack will recede and I can venture forth before the next two weeks are up and nail me some keepers.

Ya know, with the flu, the 700 billion inches of snow on my favorite lake my thoughts are drifting towards Mexico where my family and I will soon be departing for. Thanks to Tuben2, I've got a line on some charters who will wine and dine me for 4-6 hours. I mean I love icefishing and all but the thought of being on a 28' charter boat out of Cozumel WELL!!!!

Do you think the all-inclusive price at the hotel includes a guarantee of catching tuna, grouper and dolphin on the ocean too? The hot sand, the warm breezes, food and beverages whenever I choose. It tends to make a Northern Michigan guys mind wander from the hard water.

that will help with all them row boats trying to get past the bridge, now they wont have to pull up to shore and carry thier boats around to the other side of the bridge any more [sly]

there was some ice in the marina in tawas this weekend , a few small pools of ice left in the woods too . the lakes are all open that i've seen , same with the rivers .
i have a little vehical matinance to do on the jeep , i hear the crappies are running at ross lake and i gotta be able to stop once i reach there . []
