trouble wtih plastic baits

Hey I'm having trouble with plastics baits. I don't know which way to rig them and what colors to use and also how I should retrieve the bait. And also how you rig the style. So if you have any advice i'll take it thanks. Oh and if it helps any i fish in a smaller farm pond and a big lake

i am fishing mainly for largemouth bass and the rigging style doesnt matter as long as u could give me one. sorry bout that[blush]
