Hey guys-
I'm taking my two nephews, age 6 and 10 to Utah Lake tomorrow morning. They've been looking forward to going fishing with their "pro fisherman" uncle for awhile. I don't want to disapoint!
Where would be a the most high percentage area of the lake to hang a worm under a bobber? I don't care what we catch, just as long as there is something on the end of their poles!!
Thanks a ton!!

I would go to Lindon boat harbor. It's got easy access, you can park on the dike and fish either side -- in the marina or on the lake side. You can have chairs if you want, food, whatever for the kids. They can run around if they're not catching any, but they should at least get some bullhead cats. Bring worms and put them on about 5 feet below a bobber and that should do the trick. You'll potentially catch anything, especially Mudcats, channels, white bass, maybe even walleye or largemouth, oh yea and maybe a huge carp or two. Have fun!!!

It's hard to explain -- aquaman explains it well.
If you look back in the posts it has been explained several times just have to look back a ways....I'll see if I can find it and post it here.

Lindon Boat Harbor ... Inside the marina, North East Corner. Bobber and worm. Also, they might be up for some LMB action ... get a pack of Zoom Baby Brush Hogs [green] ... Texas rigg them [1/16thoz weight], set the dragg and have them cast out ... count to 20 ... have them reel in really slow and tell them to set the hook ... HARD! Make sure you bring a camera! i did this with my 5 year old son, He's hooked for life. after his 5th LMB that day, he has his own bass rods now. He loves it! Could you take pictures for me?
Directions to LBH ...
Freeway ... South.
The "New" Pleasant Grove Exit.
Turn towards the lake, go to stop sign, take a left.
follow the road around until you come to another stop sign. Turn right.
Follow this road until it makes a sharp right turn. ... This sharp right turn will take you straight into the entrance of LBH. 5.00 parking.
Trust me, it will be worth it.

Thanks UTBass those are straightforward directions. I always come from the south from the 400 s orem side, but it's too complicated to explain how to get there that way. Good luck and be safe out there in Afganistan!!
We're all proud of what you're doing!!!!

Directions to LINDON Boat Harbor: Take the 1600 north exit off of I-15 west. Turn right on Genvea Road. Go underneath I-15 overpass until you get to 200 south in Lindon (2 blocks). Turn left, follow the road west to where it ends. Turn left, you head about 100 yards south and the road will bend to your right(west). About 300 yards in front of you is the entrance of Lindon Boat Harbor. Its $2 to drive in with car. I believe $5 for a boat to launch
