Big Hammer Stinger

Has anyone tried the new application to the Big Hammer lures in relation to trolling for trout. There was a great story about it in a magazine(I don't remember which one). The guy strings a stinger hook from the main hook to the end of the tail and catches those shortbiting trout. He caught some really large trout out of the new Diamond Lake. It looks good but you know how that goes.
