fished last night after work lots of bites some guys downstream were doing quit well we caught 1 nice channel 18-20 in. 1 12-13 in. walleye and a mud cat if we would have hooked up with every bie we would have had a good couple hours fishing

Thats a good report for a few hours of fishing. Were you using night crawlers or some thing else?

I measured the channel when I got home, and it was 21 1/2 inches. We both need to learn how to set a hook though. It was really funny watching each other miss the bites you wish for your kids! LOL!! Grave yard shift comming up. Looks like this weeks fishing will be in the AM. But is there a bad time to fish?

I fished two night in a row and all we got was 16 suckers and a carp. Where Is everyone getting the walleye? I didn't even get a mudcat, just suckers and carp. Can you just use a curly tail jig for the walleye? I really gotta explore the jordan more. You guys may have seen me, my friend and I were just south of the 106th south bridge fishing a huge run. I'm probably headed down there again tomorrow. Anyone got walleye in this area? How about channels? Will the channels hit nightcrawlers or do they respond better to meat?
