Hi every one, im putting out a call to all BFT members to help out some "At Risk" youth by donateing some fishing equipment.
Im starting a fishing program for young men and women and could use some rods, reels, and tackle to help get them started. i have secured a pond that will be stocked with trout but i just dont have the equipment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TRY HITTING UP THE SALES MANAGER AT SPORTSMANS WAREHOUSE THERE IN OGDEN JUST OFF RIVERDALE ROAD. I KNOW FOR THE YOUTH PROGRAM HERE IN SLC THE DWR PUTS ON THEY DONATED HOOKS SINKERS AND TACKLE BOXES FOR THE KIDS....THEY MAY MAKE A DEAL FOR YOU TOO...I THINK THEY LET THE DWR BUY RODS WITH REELS AT COST..WHICH I UNDERSTAND WAS LIKE AT LEAST HALF OF THE STICKER....ITS WORTH A SHOT. I WILL LOOK AND SEE IF I HAVE ANYTHING I CAN PART WITH TOO AND SEND YOU A PM IF I COME UP WITH ANYTHING.

thanks "Icefool" mabey i didnt explain it very well these are kids that may have never had the chance to go fishing or be outdoors to learn about the sport we all love. most of them have battled with drugs or legal problems and i think they all could use some other avenue to take outr their frustrations and have some "fishing therapy"
Really any help would be greatly appreciated. any extra hooks line or tackle would help let alone poles and reels that are still serviceable..
thnaks again

I don't have any extra poles or reels left, but I can send you some tackle. Thats even getting down some because this will be the third cause I've donated to so far this year. But thanks to my ex-wifes uncle that used to buy 10 or 20 of the same lures whenever he would find them on sale. So PM me an address and give me a few days and I'll ups you a package. Al
