Sunnyside?

Does anyone know of cabin /cottage rentals at Sunnyside? Phone number or website? I'd like to take my wife up there when the bass turn on but she probably wouldn't want to camp in the campground & it's kind of a long drive to go in the morning & come back at the end of the day.

As far as I know there aren't any rental places. I've never asked anyone, but most times I fish there I see locals at the ramp, so you may be able to ask one of them. I agree with you about the campground.. 7 miles from the lakes is ridiculous and the campground is definately not that nice..

I haven't been to the campground in a couple of years so it might have changed. I go there strictly for day trips when I don't feel like driving further. I do like the lakes however, it just sucks when they get all choked up in the summer. It made it impossible to use my float tube as I had to go through the greenery and that made for hard work.

I've never gone for bass up there, though I do catch quite a few small ones during my trips there.

Maybe you can rent a small rv for the trip with the wife...

Yeah it's Kirch. I've just been calling it Sunnyside for so long, well you know. Anyway I usually get a bunch of small ones up there & the occasional 3-4 pounder. I thought I saw some other buildings near the store that's why I was asking. It's been a while since I came in from that direction so I don't really remember what I remember.
