Real photo of two fish. The one on the left has head stuck in the gill plate of the one on the right. This is a common thing when using a stringer running through the gill. The pic is not retouched, It is just an angler that has captured the moment. Will cause conversation for many, over the years.

Texas Gulf Coast Fisher.

I made my analisus and will stick with it untill theangler says that I am wrong! The stringer in the mouth is the giveaway. If it had been modified then the stringer would have been removed from the pic.

Texas Gulf Coast Fisher.

Hello,
Truth is guys, I don't know, the person who sent it in ws asking us if it was legite. They had seen it somewhere and didn't know. If I had to go out on a limb and having seen my share of retouched photo's, I would say this one althou pretty bizare, it looks legite?

[laugh] How about a good laugh?
http://www.bigfishtackle.com/comics.htm

Mike H

Upon great scrutiny i will have to agree the stringer does not return from where it has entered but even closer look reveals that the one on the left has been placed outside of the other. Follow the mouth line of the fish on the right.....Nice retouch though.

Good luck and keep fishing....Gamakatsu <*(((><

I have down loaded the pic and blown it up and examined it and after veiwing it at 200 - 250 - 300 - 350 - 400 It looket to me like a photo that was cut and glued on top of each other.

I have seen many srange things in my life "Like elusive Jack-o-lope"

a unicorn "a white one horned dear my neibor had penned in his back yard."

all look very real untill closer examination.

when I was working for the Michigan Departmen Natural Resorces I had my favorite animal story, It was a "4-foot Ground Hog" I had the boys who came out from the city going for months.

My story was finaly shot when we were traveling on a long trip with a game warden when the story came up about the criter. the game warden said that there never was such an animal as a 4-foot ground hog. In my defence I then replied that I have never seen a ground hog that didn't have 4 feet.

so the moral of the story is belive only half of what you hear and only a third of what you see. thaings arent what they always seem to be.

I do have good sence of humer and have already passed the pic down the line to my buddies showing them what I gaught.

but they know me all to well,

http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/MESS6438/
Lookie See what the kids are up to.
Dave T. I agree with ssor. I've seen this in Oswego ,Salmon fishing. As you drag or carry the fish it will happen. Your not looking at the direction of bodies? The back of the smaller fish is left, meaning the stringer is in the bottom of the jaw. Also look at colors not lines.
