Fishing last weekend.
#1
Ok, so I'm a slow reporter.

Last friday I took my son to the kaysville ponds for a couple of hours. We fished the two southernmost ponds with a variety of stuff, and didn't catch anything. It's getting pretty mossy in there. We saw lots of small bass in one pond, and some larger bass in the other, but they didn't seem too interested in what we had to offer.

Saturday morning I went to Echo in my toon. There were only a couple of boats on the lake so it was quiet. I caught a nice little 14 inch rainbow right off the bat by the ramp on a small crankbait. I missed another hit while trolling a spinner and worm. That was it for the day. It was nice until the jetskiers woke up about 10:00. I left shortly after that. I tried for perch for a little while, but didn't have any luck.

Sunday I took my wife up to Lost Creek. We took turns on the toon. I only caught 1 rainbow on a perchy looking jig. Saw a few smaller fish caught by others either trolling or using powerbait. The wind made fishing tough. We fished near the ramp and didn't really venture out of the area.

Good report, to bad the fishing didnt go better for your wife and you. Yeah, gots to love those personal water craft skeeters![crazy]

But hey, maybe with this weekend slightly chillier temps the skeeters wont be such a bother if ya make it out.

Don, both the wife and I have Friday off, and it's payday, so we'll be getting her a pontoon of her own, and you can bet we'll be out there fishing, especially since the kids are still in school.
