[cool]I'm goin' after some mudbugs on Memorial Day, 'cause weatherman said it's gonna rain on saturday. We're headin' to either Soldier Creek or Scofield. While we're bringin' in the drumsticks I'll also have a bait rig out there hopin' to get into a big huge bow close to shore.
Where ever you all are headed, GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE!!![pirate]

I always get the names for Memorial day and Labor day mixed up also, the weekends are about the same. Everyone and there dog, horse, four wheeler, and boat go camping. So I think that I will not fish this weekend, and go hiking in the Tony Grove area instead. I know that I will not be able to find solitude but at least it will not be so crowded.

We are hoping to fish Willard on Friday evening and with the weather report that was posted, Friday may be the only day we can get some wipers.Other than that we will just have to wait and see what the weather brings.

I am lucky this year I get to go up to Idaho and fish the hennry's fork of the snake river. man do I love that place it is one of the best in the country. every thing from 6 inch brooks and cuts to 24" rainbows and monster cutthroat out of some of those deep holes that the river has. I will be sure to post a report of how I did. FISHINGS MY LIFE!!!

I'm not going to bother going fishing Saturday or Sunday as I have baby duty (my boy is 9 months old now, can't wait for him to get older[laugh]!!!). But I think I'm going to hit the west side of Utah Lake from the shore at either pelican point or the knolls (probably the latter) monday evening. Then possibly Willard on Tuesday or Wednesday

I had plans to go to Pelican, but with the weather report I'll probably stay home and give Mantua a try. The fishing report in the paper said the bass have started to spawn, not sure how accurate that is but I'm going to give her a try. Just didn't want to waste my money on a Pelican trip when Saturday is supposed to be a high of 49 degrees.

Mike from what I understand the entire Gorgre and Bear lake counts as Utah waters where the contest is concerned.. I could be wrong though.
PS,, Look at that,, I'm no longer a Perch!
