Good News on Silverwood Lake!!!!

They announced that Silverwood Lake will be open this weekend for full fishing activities. They just did a major trout plant and expect the place to get roaring again.[cool]

Did you happen to hear how crowded they expect it to be for Memorial Day? Maybe Tuesday or Wends. is the day to go.

They didn't mention anything on the stripers yet since they have been closed down since the fires. I imagine the bit would be able to do good since there has been no pressure on them for several months.

The trout planting has been kept up over the last months and there is a huge stocking for this week. They have only allowed trout fishing near the dam and that's all the access that has been permitted.

I'm planning on going to Catalina this weekend. Drop on by for some fresh fish tacos. I'm bringing my protable stove. Give me a call if you can.[]
