5 lb bow at strawberry (pics)
#1
this pic is late, but my wife and I went to strawberry last week and fished from the shore for a while at soldier creek and hit the tail end of the morning bite. we caught three fish, a 17" cut (my wife) and a 19" cut and a 23" 5lb rainbow trout (me). Anyway here are the pics,

Good looking fish Jed, but not sure it was good enough looking to kiss! Congratulations to both of you.

leona was too busy taking pictures to give me a kiss, so I figured the fish was convenient and wouldn't slap me back or anything[Wink]. of course leona will even kiss me when I smell fishy so I should probably kiss her more, but it's kind of a tradition to take a fish kissing picture on each trip (if it is a big one),

[cool]Nice fish Jed! Were you fishing the minnows on the bottom, or below a bobber? I gotta get out to the berry soon. Still haven't fished it yet this summer.

I was fishing both, They hit on the bobber early and then on the bottom later and finally about 2 feet off the bottom on a dropshot,

southernman did a great job of explaining it. I rigged it just a little different this time though. It had about 3" of leader befor the minnow on the hook part of the drop shot,
