utah lake nice eye's 2-5-05

well me and the wife went and fished provo boat harbor today we got there around 2:30 fished for and hour at the end of the north dike. wind started to pick up so wife asked if we could move down by the boat docks. well she won out so we moved "good thing"

we put on some 5" chubs on a 1/2oz slip sinker and a weedless 1/0 hook. we were in the water for about 1/2 hour then wham I hooked up on a 14" eye he went back in the drink with no picks. 20 mins later hooked a 12" one. then around 4:00 a big one hit and got off just 3 feet out "duh" it looked like it was around 28" or more but I've not going to say for sure because I did't get pics to show you all. but at 4:20 I hooked a 20 1/2" eye "see pic" nice but that was it for me for the day for bites.

now all this time stacy had no hits. so when the sun just went down over the hill we decided to go she picked up her pole and she had a 20" eye on her pole "nice way to leave" any way here are the pic's of the 2 biggest one's "her's and mine"

Dang norm those are some nice eyes, im starting to get the walleye bug again, i sure hope that yuba can recover within the next few years.

[]LMAS thanks for letting me know what a dumb a** I am with my camera. I went back and was looking at my last few pics, and wow I have pics of me now at the las vegas bass pro shop opener in 2002 lol "not"

I was out there sat also. Just stayed on the north dike, next time Ill have to move around a bit. No fish for me but several guys around me caught a few. (one went 28+ inches)

I was the one in the green jeep cher parked on end of the dike at first then at the bottom of the 1st boat ramp. if you see me there sometime stop and say hi.
