Lake X report 2/06
#1
Just some pics of some hard water I walked on but I couldn't get my kid to carry my auger so I didn't punch any holes . Don't know how thick but it held me (220#) while I jumped up and down on it . Ranger told me he wanted to know how deep it was it I found a opening but was unsuccessfully today . I hate to disappoint those state boys . Dam puter must be slow today . Really struggling to post here . Bout ready to give up !!!!!!!!!!
Warning !!! , there is some open water so check ice good if you venture out on it . I just felt like being a dumba$$ today . Working on my walking on water classifications .

Ha!

You've beaten me at my own game! I'm usually the first to jump on that ice over there on top of those perchies and bows. I usually fish it for about a month alone until people eventually find my footprints after a snowstorm or two and swarm over it. That sure beats a 1/4 mile hike with all that gear to rockcliffs. Lately, I've been too obsessed with the Rockport perchies. They have size at the Rock, but usually being the late riser I am I can barely scratch a limit, even with a perfect perch presentation.
