Best Time For Pelican Bluegill

I remember being there on Memorial Day one year and we caught a few, but I think we missed the hot action so I'd like to try earlier. Thanks in advance. [][/size][/black][/font]

Any time in may and the bugs may not be to bad.

Normally when the fishing is productive at a certain location and the resource is large enough and/or is capable of withstanding a bit more fishing pressure, some BFTer or two will often give a favorable report on the lake or stream, along with tips and advice. That's what makes this board so great!

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a report on Pelican in a month or so about open water and a successful fishing trip. So be watching, or if the reports aren't forthcoming, ask a few more questions.
