Corona Lake Trout Opener
#1
Here's the scoop at Corona. We stocked over 12,000 pounds of Rainbow Trout this last week and more coming in tonight.

You need to fish top water with a Bobber with a 3 foot lead. Use a Nightcrawler with Crave Gravy (Garlic or Natural). They are also hitting Reds And Pinks.

The last 2 days almost everyone has brought up there limits. Thats Right Full Limits. The average weight being 1 1/2 pounds to 6 pounds.

NEXT WEEK WE WILL BE STOCKING THE SUPER TROUT. SEVERAL BEING LAKE RECORDS. THE CURRENT RECORD BEING 22 POUNDS.

WE WILL POSTING OUR BILL OF LADINGS SO YOU CAN SEE HOW MANY POUNDS WE REALLY STOCK EACH WEEK.

SO COME OUT AND HAVE FUN AND GET AWAY FROM IT ALL.

Hello Rvwitt,

I am going to be posting a full report in this board later about my trip out to Corona today, but wanted to respond to your update and say Thank you! I went out with my brother-in-law who had not been out in a long time and we had a blast. We got in quick, all the employees out there are A+++ (helpful, friendly, hospitable).

Our fishing started a little slow becuase we were testing different baits but from the shore and the other boats near us everyone was hooking up! I had planned on fishing in the morning and heading to the office around noon but ended up fishing till the lake closed. Although the morning started slow we were getting steady bites and landed 2 keepers and a couple small ones we released. After launch we were on fire! Landed 6 more keepers including a nice 4.5 pound rainbow that made it on your lake web cam (for those of you who go, definetly take a photo on the web cam, by the time you get home its online) and released some smaller trout. All and all we were on the fish all day and had a AWESOME TIME!!! THANK YOU Rvwitt CORONA LAKE!!

By the way your link to the web cam is not going to the right page, the proper link is below (NOTE: The good looking guy with the 4.5 pound rainbow LOL) (TOP ROW SECOND ONE TO THE RIGHT)

Mike, great photo, sounds and looks like you had a great day.

The webcam set-up is killer.

Not only did you catch some fish, but you look sharp.

Are we on for the California Sportfishing Coalition lunch?

Is anyone else going this Sunday?
