Outboard Motors

I need to buy a trolling motor for my 16' tri-hull. Has anyone had any experience with the Briggs and Stratton 5 H.P.?? Thanks for any suggestions.

My buddy bought one and we found it to be a little loud compared to the normal 4 stroke brands(yamaha,evinrude,merc and so on). You might want to check the for sale board for some outboard sales good luck

another thing to concider is the money you want to spend and the lifespan of the motor.
You can pick up some older motors fairly cheep that are going to last for several years if properly maintained.
I take on several motors a year that are very dependable, most of them are built in the early 60's.
I see quite a few on the for sale in utah board time to time that are fairly reasonably priced.
