DWR serious about Tiger Trout in rockport
#1
The DWR just stocked 23,000 tiger trout in Rockport Reservoir.

In the past 2 years they have put a whopping 66,282 Tiger Trout in Rockport.

I am sure they will start showing up on the end of your hooks this year in the 8-10 inch range and by next year in the 12+ range. Wink

Pretty sweet to have Tiger Trout now in a reservoir so close to the SLC valley.

I wish we could get the EPA to put the thumb screws to the golf courses in Park City and make them put in some kind of filtration system to get all of the nitrates out of the river....oh well. Until then we'll have to continue to live with anchor worm infested trout.

[cool]Sounds cool, Craig. Hopefully we'll be able to pull some of those guys through the ice this year to give a bit more variety to the perch and 'bows.
