Joe's Valley report
#1
gave Joe's Valley a try again yesterday.. got there to find the lake is up to about 4 feet from being full..
started out catching some chub for bait but was haveing a hard time finding some that wanted to be bait.. finely after about 20 min's we had all we need.. then we went hunting splake.. with not much luck.. we cought 2 small splake and a small rainbow then not a thing after that.. tryed jigging trolling and bait fishing not a lick..
the water is really muddy right now and there is a ton of flotsum on the lake right now..

It's east of Ephraim, near the town of Huntington. You can go across Fairview Canyon if you are coming along highway 89.

sorry to hear that fishing wasnt too good. that lake is always chocolate this time of year! i hope it clears up by the 4rth- should be heading down with the whole family. i'm assuming with the water levels up that the ramp is in the water now.- is this correct fuzzy? one of these days someone is going to hook into a real monster at joes! thanks for the report.

yeah Don i was lookinjg for wallhanger up there.. seen alot at the deepth that i was looking for just could not get them to hit.. the water is alot muddyer than any year i have seen it.. that might have some thing to do with it..

elkoholic.. skyline still has alot of snow right now.. in the old days it would not be all the way open between Mt pleasant canyon and spring city canyon tell the end of june or the first of july.. but right now it's not even open up there at all..
