Flaming Gorge July 2-4!
#1
It was a little windy in the afternoon every day, blowing dust saturday. morning fishing was pritty good, slowing down by about 11 a.m. we finaly got in the kokane, the shasta lure broke the ice for us, then after we lost them the pixies really out produced them, wedding rings worked too, about 40' down or 200' back,2.5 mph.

3 lb 13 oz. -->largest fish of the weekend.!
thay're not that big, but boy can thay swim, when thay come out of the water and fly with the flasher trailing behind it's vary exciting. I won't soon forget that sight.

I have used shasta lures before on the gorge and done well. What is the pixie you refer to. Is that a lure and if so, what size and color did you use?

Pink pixies are a hammered silver spoon with a plastic insert in the center, the only place that has 1|4 oz. is sports whs. I've got to get more. we were down to 1. should have checked our knots after evary fish.
