Ive noticed that it seems you need to go to Lincoln Beach or Bird Island for the big monster mature Channels at Utah Lake. Most of what can be had at Lindon , Provo etc seems to be big, but not as big. Have any of you folks that like the channel cat fishing as much as I, do found any of the spots closer to SLC to produce the nice big dark mature fish ? I hate that drive all the way down to the other end.
let me know your thoughts.
How is the reed fishing at Lindon the past few weeks ?

thanks once again for a very informative reply. I know you have put alot of time into fishing this lake. I would love to find a spot close to Saratoga. Any thoughts ? I am not familiar with that side with the exception of the lake side of the pump house.

Read your introduction, Pat. Very nice writing and very informative. Best of luck as you continue.
You should really think about publishing your works. I don't know what kind of market there is out there, but you certainly have the writing skills and experience to compose a fine book on Utah fishing, whatever the specific topic.
Thanks for all you share with us.
