I went to AW pond in New Britian Saturday and it was very productive. Ten fish on nightcrawlers and hooks. I tried the corn but the fish are to smart take it off hooks (but they will eat corn out of the water!). Nine of them were Panfish (about the length of my hand). One, fish number 9, was a large mouth bass! My first one!!!! It was only six inches (measured it with a tape measure). All the fish went back without avoidable injuries after they were caught!
