Fished Pickerel Lake this morning at dawn. Nice little ramp but too bad the lake is going to @#$% with weeds. Not much action, a couple of shorts, one 2lb LM and of course one pickerel, also lost two hooks on ?? Fished from 5:15 AM until 9:30 when the weeds and wind kicked me out. Took me 1/2 hour to clean off the weeds from my trailer! Whose line is it? "That place is a toilet" Too early to call it quits so off to Basham. Not much action to start with but warmed up after noon. A couple of shorts, next 1 1/2 lb,followed by a 3.3(all LM) then I went looking, dried up there. I fish alot of worms and plastic so I was looking for a place to hide from the "varible winds". Found a spot, shore, grass, sturture. First cast 2 LB LM, 2nd cast 1 LB, in less then one hour I landed over 15 8" to 16" LM with two short SM in about 2' to 10' of water, all within 200' of shoreline. The wind picked up but didn't matter, the bite was on. Never landed anything over 1 1/2 LB after the first one but it never stopped. Kept going over the same area and hitting but nothing big. I told the Boss I might be better tommorow
