Side Jobs?

How many of you have jobs that you work on the side or only on the weekends etc... to help make a little more money? What do you do and how does it pay? I would imagine there are probably more opprotunities during the warmer months, but I would like to hear any ideas.

I do handyman and yardcare. I also do a little bit of internet marketing. If you can find the time and finances to get moving these are descent at making a play income. If you need some ideas and info let me know I might be able to help make things easier. The worst part is going to be getting set up and figuring out rates for work you might do. If these are not ideas you are interested in I still have some general business experience that might help to avoid alot of headache in the future.

That is very true kraizee but unfortunately it is to difficult to get away with for a long enough period of time to enjoy the benefits. There are advantages to it though everyone you sell to is never going to calim your services on thier taxes. But there are several other options that might take a little longer to get moving but will eventually get you as much if not more cash that you can enjoy without meeting up with you new bunkmate Bubba. Many things you can start with very minimal up front expense, others if you are able come up with a larger amount that might pay off faster. Unfortunately there are many things people don't consider when getting into business that eventully break thier spirit and any desire to use business to improve thier lives. With very little research you can find out all the legal crap that you need to know about starting any kind of business you desire. If anyone has any ?'s I would be happy to do my best to answer or find an answer to your ? to help you get your feet moving in the right direction.

A part time job at sportsmans whse or cabelas or some place like that is impossible to beat.
You get unbelievable discounts. Dont believe bad rumors, try pro forming stuff at 60% off. plus its not like having a second job. Its like being caught in the candy store talking fishing all day and getting paid for it. I actually looked forward to going to my second job when I was doing it. Its by far the best thing a guy can do with his time if he wants to spend some of it working. [signature]

I have a buddy that worked at the Sportwarehouse in midvale, he gave me the heads up that working in the fishing dept is not fun, do to some specific people that work there, just a heads up. Go to Cabelas.

I worked at Checker part time and I loved it (most of the time) but I had to quit when one day I came home and the kids started throwing rocks at my truck because they thought I was a stranger, Ha Ha.
Now I just have become the Dairy Whore, it made me $12k more than base pay (hourly wagex40hrsx52weeks) last year. $23+hr on overtime sure beets $9.50 at checker. The funny thing is it's still not enough, I wish I had been smart enough to go to collage.[crazy] Oh well, at least I have a roof over my head, and a car to drive to work.[  ][signature]

I delivered pizza for 8 yrs.

Dude,just cut the extra expenses; Cable tv,cell phone etc. forget the extra job and go Fishing. Guarantee it will be more fulfilling.

I have an internet job posting website for people in my profession (GIS - [url "http://www.gisconnection.com"]www.gisconnection.com[/url]). It's my play income and requires no time at all. I've had it since 1997- that's when I spent the time to develop it. Now I just sit back and let people post jobs/resumes and collect the $$$. I just wish I would have had a bigger vision- no wonder Monster is worth so much.
HFT- ever thought doing the net thing? Just have an internet store and nothing local? It's so easy to ship from your own house these days you wouldn't even have to leave your house to ship. [signature]

Most product manufacturers ( Rapala, Yamamoto, etc...) require that you have a physical store in order to sell their products online.
