My Brother and I hit scolfield again today from 2:00 pm til dark. Southern most end of the lake, used plain #12 hook covered with a wax worm right off the bottom, water was about 11 feet deep. We ended up with 13 rainbows up to 18 inches and 4 red shiner minnows up to 5 inches. The shiners bit so light you would have never known it without the spring bobber, as well as a few of the trout. The best time was just before dark. Was a beautiful day and not too bad fishing.

That's one of the better reports I've heard from down there. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the encouraging report. How was the snow on the ice, slush?

The snow on the shore was about 2 ft deep, but the snow on the ice was only 4 inches and no slush. We were able to walk on top of the snow on shore for the most part.
