Echo reports
#1
Has anyone tried Echo? Is the ice safe? With all of the other dependable spots not producing very well, I wonder if this "left alone lake" would be producing better?

Went to Echo on Saturday 21. We were in a group of three and only managed about 15 bites. We landed one small perch. We threw the entire tackle box at them. We fished off the boat ramp in 15- 50 foot depths. The bite was really soft. We caught the perch on a green #10 rat finkee. Ice was 10 inches and the edges were good.

We fished it also, for about an hour and a half on Sunday. My son iced two rainbows, one 13 and one 18.5 inches. My uncle landed a 16.5 incher. They were using a Swedish Pimple tipped with a waxie and a Renegade spoon tipped with meal worm. I searched around for perch the whole time, from 15 to 65 ft of water, without any luck. The ice was about 10 inches and the edges were firm near the dam. Good luck!
