Strap on your waders, cause the salmon flys are here. I went fishing this morning on the upper Desutes river below Benham Falls, and i pulled in a nice rainbow trout. It had been gorging itself on Salmon Fly nymphs. If you happen to be in central oregon, you can't miss this hatch. Hope you can get the chance to experience this hatch, because it could be the best fishing in a long time for you.

whats happining out you way this time of year?

are you getting any stray salomn runs? I saw on the news you have been getting hit with the worm stuff too. hope it dosnt get like it did a couple years back when the river whent thorugh the streets in town, that was weird seeing fish swiming down main street.
