Went fishing on bass lake Sunday morning (feb,2)
Fished from 7:00 to noon. Caught 30 crappie and 1 pike.
The crappie are hitting more around 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. on minnows.
I have tried 2 times right at dark and only get 2-3 fish after fishing for a couple off hours. It is very uncommon to catch crappie during the day.

NOW HERES ONE FOR YOU , MY BOSS JUST CAME BACK FROM HIS VACATION ON FLETCHERS POND AND WAS CATCHING HUGE BASS THRU THE ICE , ( LITTLE BASS TO HIM ARE 20" AND SMALLER ) . TEARDROPS TIPPED WITH A MINNOW IS THE THING TO USE .
