[cool][#0000ff]That is a good craft. Several of the Utah BFTers have them and like them. If you need input, PM Carp_punisher or Road. They are ready to mount an electric and handle well with the oars.[/#0000ff]

Check out The Creek Company website.
I bought a boat from them this week. Ordered it on Sunday and it was at my door step on wed.
Very quick service.

[cool][#0000ff]Good lookin' craft and a good price too. I don't know anyone who has the 9 foot model but I have reviewed several reports of folks that have the 8 footers and all seem to be happy with them. The main difference should be more floatation and the fact that in Utah you have to have a 9 footer to take them down moving water (Green River).[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If you get it, I would like a chance to "test drive" it. I still think that maybe a pontoon would be a good thing to have in my arsenal for some fishing situations. I did not like the Outcast Cougar, but maybe the Creek single air chamber tube will be more to my liking.[/#0000ff]

Nice looking ride. I wonder if that outer shell will fade though. I personally prefer the PVC coated shells (Rock proof, plus stay the same color year after year).
My advise to all who look at pontoons is.....IS THE PLASTIC SEAT PADDED! Makes a big difference.
Again, good looking and great price.

Hey! I'm actually about to pull the trigger next week on a 'toon, and was going to order a knock off of the Colorado. Price is close to this one's price....
A) Can it mount an 'lectric motor?
B) Does it come with oars?

I think I answered my own questions by visiting the site....apparantly there is a motor mount option, and of course it comes with oars...
I'm going to Sportsmans today to have a looksee...it sounds like about the same price as what I was looking at online....

Well, I ordered the SS about two weeks ago. Arrived this week. Since I'm moving in just a week, its staying in the box for now. VA doesn't have any moving water restrictions like Utah, so I didn't need a 9' model, and the price is outstanding. I'm looking forward to getting it out ASAP, but the next few weeks are going to be tough.

I would think so, best to call or email the company.
Like I said, mine hasn't left the box yet.

[cool][#0000ff]The "TUBATORIUM" (my garage) is always available for customizing projects. I usually keep a supply of both PVC tubing and fittings, but if we know in advance what we will need to be doing, I can make sure I have it available.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I think you will be happier with the 9 footer. But, since all toons are not created equal, there are differences in the frames and layouts. That can make it tricky sometimes to hang all the goodies on your craft and keep them out of the way of the oars, etc. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]The good news is that I have had to figure out enough different models by now that if it is doable, we will do it. If we run into a special needs situation, I am not far from a Lowes and two Home Depots.[/#0000ff]
