Silver Lake 9/17

I fished Silver Lake this afternoon for a couple of hours from my tube. I caught 22 including a couple of tiny brookies.

Nice pick. That gets my blood pumping for the elk hunt even more! Where is Silver lake? Hike in or drive to?

Silver Lake is at Brighton up Big Cottonwood Cyn. Drive to within couple of hundred yards.

Ok, i think i drove past the area a few years ago on the bow hunt. That is some big buck country up there. How big are the fish? Cutts and bows?

BTW: Did you get your deer?

The fish are planter rainbows(8-14") and small brookies. As for deer I missed an easy shot at a small buck and I jumped a big one out of his bed but didn't get a shot at him.
