[red] Had my Wife and Granddaughter with me ( neither were a problem ). Spent another $100 bucks got a new Diawa Accudepth 27LC Reel these things are sweet. We had a great time watching my Granddaugther go ooooh and ahhh at all of the animals there and the fish.[/red]
[#ff0000] While I was looking at some fishing gear I ran into Fishhound doing the same thing, was good to see him again. Anyway looking forward to using that new reel soon.[/#ff0000]

You only spent a hundred bucks at Cabelas??? I am impressed. I am usualy good for about $250.00 each time there. I buy crap I only think I will never use. That is a great reel by the way, good choice! I have been to 5 Cabelas, they are all amazing!

While looking for our first home my wife though we should meove to Lehi. I said NO WAY.
Then I saw that I could see Cabela's from my john as I took a leak.
She got the house and I got new gear. We are both satisfied.

[black]Hey Dan,[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]It was good to see you again. That was about my second visit at Cabelas too. [/black]
[black][/black]
[black]I didn't find the rod I was looking for so, I got out of there with spending about $6 on 2 floats and some plastic grubs. The prices at Cabelas are just a little too high - considering that between my house and Cabelas, Sportsman's and Fish Tech are closer and cheaper. [/black]
[black][/black]
[black]After I left, I went to LBH to get the dust off some gear and to soak a line for a few minutes(using frozen carp from last fall). That's about all that really happened there. Except, I saw one guy on the north dike catch a white bass and a bull head. There were a few bugs and power boats out but, it wasn't too bad.[/black]

[cool][#0000ff]Cabelas is definitely an impressive store. But, they are still limited in what they can stock. I have to order a lot of my lure making stuff online because they do not keep any in the store. Same with float tubes. You can't find what you want in the store to see them up close and personal before ordering them. Also disappointed in their wader selection in the store. And on and on.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]It really is a "happening" place to take kids though. Kinda like Disneyland for fishermen and hunters.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Heard a funny reference to Cabelas a while back. A couple of guys at Willard were watching me fillet fish with my electric fillet knife and asked where they could buy one. I suggested Walmart, Sportsmans or Cabelas. One of them said "Well, I gotta go by the Lehi Temple for some hunting stuff so I'll look for one of those while I'm there."[/#0000ff]
