Started the day at Silver Lake Flat around 7:30. It is empty. The only way to get it any lower would be to pump it out. I fished for about 2 hours and managed to catch 7 small rainbows. They haven't grown a bit since they went in there in the spring.
I moved down to Tibble and couldn,t get anything to even look at my flies.
I went on down to Highland Glen park. There were quite a few fish rising for so late in the day ( about 10:00.) I caught one 4" bass and a small rainbow.
Finally stopped at Cabela's for some new wading shoes.

I've never been down to any of those lakes, but they sound like they are close, and can provide a little action. Plus a stop at Cabelas can't be all that bad.

Unlike you I work all the time which doesn't leave any time to hunt anything. I feel lucky when I get a few hours to go fishing. I looks like you you did well again this year. Have you been duck hunting too.

Yeah, but nothing too impressive. A goose and a hen spoonie last night and only 2 shots tonight. Time to start deeking.
