For anyone who is interested, the water level at Willard is now down enough so that you can see the hump in the middle of the north marina. If you did not get to see it when it was so low 3 years ago, now is the time.

Jordanelle camera has not worked for a month but the UL and Willard works fine. You can watch bald eagles on the Willard camera just about everyday.

I hope they don't keep dropping the water level or we might be in danger of Willard not filling up this year. Does anyone have an idea how low they will need to go to repair the leak? WH2

[cool]True, wiperhunter2, and also we are only at 72% of normal for our snowpack right now, so we need to do the snow dance a lot more as well, or pray for more moisture. Hopefully this storm coming in tomorrow will really dump up in the high country...

Just to put in perspective how much water has been released from Willard:
The capacity of Willard is 215,000 acre-feet,
the capacity of Pineview is 110,000 acre-feet,
so, if they have released half of the water in Willard, that is just about the capacity of Pineview. Kinda weird to think about it in those terms....
