EAST CANYON
#1
Went up to East canyon today with FISHFEARME2. We arrived about 7:45 in the state park and headed out from the boat ramp to the buoys. Are lines were in the water at about 8:15. Right away FFM2 had a hit, we thought we were going to have a fast and furious day but it wasn't to be. The bites were intermittent but just enough to keep us interested. I noticed other anglers file down to the lake through out the morning. The wind was blowing pretty good from time to time and there were light snow flurries. The ice was 7"-8" thick and we were fishing in 29' of water. We mainly used rat finki's tipped with wax and meal worms. I only had one hit on the wax worms the rest were on wax worms. We both ended up catching 5 fish a piece only keeping 4 for the frying pan.
