DEER CREEK
#1
This will be brief I apologize.
6+ inches of good ice.
Fished out by the island.
Caught about 10 rainbows no perch. 12 to 18" trout.
Caught all about five to ten feet down on a 2" white Berkley Gulp minnow tipped with a night crawler.
Morning was better than afternoon.
Some guys were by the bouys when we left around 4pm and they were doing pretty good.
If anyone happens to catch a Berkley ice pole attached to a fish I'd appreciate getting it back.

Fished deer creek today from 4 pm till 6. Around that island area as well. Just 4 slimers, nothing of significant size biggest about 15 inches. All on the bottom not suspended. No perch anywhere in the vicinity.

Fished from 4-6 p.m. and got skunk on me. I marked a few fish all on the bottom. I only talked to one guy that said he had caught one fish.

The whole lake is frozen

Kniephof and I ended up on the other side of the island where we stayed until we left around 4:00 pm. We finally caught 3 within 10 minutes of our departure, a 14", 15", 16". It was really slow for us, marked very few fish on the finders. Good to meet you and your little one.
