Started at 8 am on the view with TLSpyder and out4afloat and petty and goose716(?). Sucked so we bagged it and headed for Holmes Creek with TKB.
Got there about noonish and headed onto the ice. Drilled our holes and set up for the rest of the day. My cousin started off the action with a slimer and ended up catching 7. I caught a 17" eye, 2 whities, one going 15", one slimer and had alot of hits. Brandon caught a jillion slimers, a few gills, some crappies, one going 12", and some whities. All fish were caught on different lures and depth's. Most of the trout came from the upper water column.
It was a great way to save the day. Glad i finally got to meet the great Killer Bee.

Nice little outing Brody. It was nice to get to finally get to fish with you. I think the lil lunkerhunter had a good time as well.

Hm, me thinks I must go across the highway and do all my Ice Fishing Challenge catching in one day at Holmes Creek! That's quite a mixed bag for a small pond!! I'm off work Monday - a short Honey-Do list might just get me there around 11:00, drill a couple holes, begin to eat my lunch and look unattentive, and then...

I should have went over to Holmes Creek I only ended up catching 6 perch that day. Of course that was better then the other day. Tent and Heater much better then sitting in the weather Why I ever fought it I will never know. Must be getting older at least that is what the better half/boss says.

You didn't miss much as far as the morning bite goes. I got at Holmes Creek at about 7:30, caught three fish(1 rainbow, 1 crappie, 1 blue gill) untill about 11, then the fishing turned on. Finished with a bunch of bows, gills, 4 crappie, and a surprise channel cat. I love that little lake! It'll probably be the only one I ice fish this year.
