what size boats are you guys running at mead? I hear the wind can kick up so I am considering a 22 ft center console. Hopefully I the seller will accept my offer. [Smile]

That should do the trick. My boat is a 17.5 ft. It is ok most of the time. But when the wind picks up to over 20 mph it becomes a wet and wild ride. But then it is pretty hard to fish anyway. hope to see you out on the lake.

I really enjoy my center console. It has performed excellent on Lake Mead.

At nineteen feet, powered by a Merc 135 Optimax two stroke engine, two live wells, and a 75lb thrust Motorguide wireless trolling motor, sonar, VHF radio, it is a fishing machine.

While bass boats, poontoon boats, and ski boats rigged for fishing work well for a lot of folks, I prefer a center console.

CARB as in California Air Resources Board?

That would be a NO, since it's in Nevada, and Arizona... check on the [#008000]www.nps.gov/lame [#000000]site.[/#000000] [/#008000][#000000]I[/#000000][#000000] [/#000000]don't belive they have restrictions as far as engine or fuel type, you can't get any diesel fuel on the lake, but if you get a trailer boat with diesels, and fill it at the gas station I don't think they would kick you off the lake....

and if your other deal falls through, check out my boat for sale post, this is a smoking deal, and really worth checking out.

Nice boat! Equally at home in saltwater and freshwater. Here's a picture of my brother's center console.

No mistaking what these deep-v, aluminum center consoles were designed for! Picture taken on Flaming Gorge, Utah, working hard to catch big lakers last summer.

Yeah I know about KAli but with all the focus on enviormentals lately I was not sure if NV was using their regs for watercraft. Thanks for the info. Ah deep v cc is their anyother choice.
