Mona Reservoir?

I've been interested in fishing at mona reservoir just because i read there was walleye there. so has anyone gone there and fished is it worth it. It seems to be pretty shallow just lookin for some tips for this place.[]

Were did you hear that there was walleyes in mona res? The DWR doesnt stock it with anything even though they should put at least perch or other species that can withstand low water in the fall. The water is deeper in the middle and by the dam area. You might have luck there but there are a ton of carp in there and huge ones. Hope this helps.

I have several publications that states there are walleyes in there. with LMB and carp. Used to be wipers there but they went downstream when the farmers drained the place. I have not heard of any recent reports from people fishing that place much less walleyes being caught.

I wished I knew but please let me know how well you did there.

I have heard the same but i never really have fished it. I have heard rumors from locals though but you never know till you find out by yourself right.[] I plan on exploring mona res this year especially when the water gets lower this fall.
