no fishing for a while!!!
#1
I had a nice trip planned for monday to go out and do some fishing with my brother and some friends
but on sunday I started feeling a little sick and by sunday night I was curled up in a ball moaning. well to
make a long story short 11 hours later I was laying in a hospital bed minus my appendix. Now I am not supposed
to lift over 10lbs for the next 3 weeks. Oh well there goes the fishing for a while, so you guys post some good
pictures for me so I can live vicariously for a while.

Murphy's law being what it is, you have a better chance of catching a 10+ lb fish right now than ever! Forget the doctors advise, get out there!

Lot of that going around . That first week is rough one . I had mine taken out 2 years ago now and I was back to work in 2 weeks .In fact , I fish the wiper derby shortly after my surgery with MGB I believe .

[cool][#0000ff]Too bad about the appendix, but I can tell you that it is better to have an attack when you are able to get medical attention than to be in a remote area with no services. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I had a friend who was a guide in Alaska who had his appendix rupture while rowing a drift boat for salmon on the Kenai River. He passed out and the customers had to get the boat in and arrange for my friend to get taken to the hospital. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Hope you recover quickly and get back out on the water. The fish will be happy to know they have a brief time out.[/#0000ff]

Jed, sorry to hear about the appendix. Glad to hear it's going OK, and all you need to do is recuperate. I will take Tanner down To Lindon boat harbor to keep your crappies from getting lonely! Hurry up and get better. See you on the water. (yes, you can use my lighter.)

Jed,

Sorry to hear about the appendix. I lost mine several years ago. Worst pain I've ever had. You can still go fishing, but I'll have to do all the catching. Just like always...Some things never change...

Get well soon buddy!

Get well soon Jed. I fondly remember having my appendix removed at age 9. Be grateful that you didn't have to be put out with ether. I don't know which was worse -- the operation or being sick as a dog from the ether.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. That 10lber will just have to get bigger waiting for you.[cool]
My brother had his appendix attack him at 10500ft in the Uintas a few years ago on the first day of a three day trip. That was an adventure for both of us.
Get back fishing soon!
