I started my holiday weekend on Saturday up Fairview canyon on skyline drive. Fished Huntington in the morning and caught one tiger trout. My buddy who was using his pontoon for the first time also had just one fish. Since it was slow and the wind was blowing we tried potter's ponds. It may have been a little to easy up there, but after a rough morning we had fun.
Sunday I went up to D.C. by myself and fished around the island. I ended up beaching myself on the far side of the island because of the wind. Stayed on the shore for a few hours waiting for the wind to die down. It never happened. I did manage to pull out a few dozen bass and green sunfish while I waited.

] Everywhere I looked was just to packed, I don't own a boat(YET), and every shoreline I saw looked like a mosh pit so I went up to Tipanogos instead I thought about hitting the lakes up there but again to crowded, so I took my kids to the zoo.[
] It was still a good weekend, And I'll probably hit pineview a few times this week after the holiday.

]Myself, Bearclaw and my buddy Nate went to Pineview Monday. Got there early and hit it hard. I lost my first muskie at the boat trying to land it. Since I was on a roll I lost Bearclaws muskie for him while trying to boat it. The muskies came and went, cast after cast after cast. We'd find them here, then nothing....find them there...then nothing. In the meantime we'd catch some bass or perch. Bearclaw caught his first muskie which was awesome. I believe we caught 7-8 muskies? Give me a break, that was 2 days ago!!![crazy]. My poor buddy nate had a smallie on that got away, that was it, bummer.
