Strawberry - 6/16/2007
#1
I heard reports of good fishing out of soldier creek so I decided to take my father out for fathers day. I really liked the marina, but we couldn't find fish over there. The conditions in the morning were nice and flat, but there were lots of boats. We finally motored over to strawberry bay and caught 6 cuts and 1 bow, then the wind picked up. There were white caps everywhere and after fighting the wind we decided to head home. Fish were taken using silver rapalas and we had to use lead core line to get deeper.

That berry wind can be a real hassle. At least you found a few fish before being blown off the water.
